The department of Computer Technology was established in 2013. It was started for the students whose primary interest is in applying available technology to solve practical problems for end users. Graduates of the program are equipped with the knowledge of current computer tools and technologies and their expertise in effective communication within the field settings. The department aims at developing academically competent and professionally motivated persons, enhanced with objective and critical thinking that compassionately foster the scientific temper with a sense of social responsibility.
The department also aims at providing high quality training to students through the latest in computer technology. In order to maintain the standard of education, the department constantly upgrades the teaching learning process so as to keep the students well-trained to deal with changing trends in the field of computer science and technology. The syllabus and course ware are planned to be flexible and wide-ranging, incorporating the cutting edge as well as ensuring a firm grasp of core fundamentals.
The department of Computer Technology has an association named “MASTEROTECH” under which seminars, guest lectures, conference, workshops and hands on training programs are regularly being conducted.
