The Department of B.Com (IT) was established in the year 2009. The department focuses on the application of information technology in the field of commerce. Students learn about IT infrastructure, software applications for business, and the effective use of technology in various business operations. Graduates can pursue careers as IT managers, business analysts, network administrators, or work as IT consultants for businesses. The programme is designed to provide the students with a unique blend of business acumen and technology expertise. It is tailored for those who wish to combine their passion for commerce with a strong foundation in information technology.
In addition to technical skills the programme also instils an entrepreneurial spirit, encouraging students to explore their innovative ideas and possibly launch their tech startups. Our department offers career counselling, resume building, interview coaching, and job placement assistance to help students kickstart their careers in the ever-evolving IT industry.
