The department of Computer Science was established in the year 1989. The department offers the following programs B.Sc. CS, M.Sc. CS, M.Phil. and Ph.D. research programs full time and part-time.
The Department aims at molding the students with high discipline and a good academic exposure. The dedicated team of the faculty employs innovative teaching techniques to promote effective learning. Resource persons from MNCs are invited to share their ideas and to guide the students in their career in the IT industries.
This program provides individuals with a comprehensive knowledge of current trends in computer science, key research issues in specialized areas of computer science, techniques for project management and design, implementation and evaluation of IT solutions. Specifically, this program covers a variety of topics in software engineering, mobile computing, data analytics, and high-performance computing.
ANSITRIX is an association of the Department of Computer Science through which the following programmers are organized / conducted.
The department provides good placement training by experts from outside. Many workshops and guest lectures are being organized in latest areas of IT to inculcate new concepts into the minds of the students. This helps the students to keep in touch with the happenings of IT field in and around the globe.
The Department also organizes industrial visits to enable the students to have an exposure in the practical applications of various techniques and conducts need based certificate courses to enhance the employment opportunities of students. Certificate courses are also conducted for the benefit of the students to be updated with the latest technical trends.
